4 teams: Straws are pulled to determine two team of two. The teams will be announced five minutes befor competition in order to develop a strategy.
The obstacle course for the two teams are exactly the same.
The goal is for each partner to transfer the two balls from their side of the course, across the seesaw to their partner's side of the course.
Balls may only pass from one partner to the other over the seesaw.
Robots are allowed to push down or lift the seesaw. This is the best way to get the ball to roll from one side to the other.
If the ball rolls under one side of the seesaw, one partner is allowed to push down on their side of the seesaw inorder to lift their partners side of the see saw so that they can access it.
The partner will then place the green balls in the Tower containers.
Two stop watches are running during play. Each watch is stopped when the corresponding team gets their four balls placed into their towers.
Penalties are counted as the game takes place.
If a robot touches a colored box or cone...subtract 10 seconds for each infraction.
If they intentionally destroy a wall, the player is disqualified.
If a partner needs to enter the course because they need to help their robot, 20 seconds is subtracted from their time each time the partner enters the course.
After the infractions are added up and and subtracted for each team's time, the winner is the team that has the fastest completion time.
