Week 2 & 3 Assignment: Write the Script/Storyboard for the Star Wars Scene You Have Been Assigned.

Hello Alexa, Alice, Alexis, Nick, Lucy, Larsen, Angela, Marisol and Sophia,

I hope all is well for you and your families. I am hopeful that we will once again be able to meet as a class, so I am going to continue to move all of us forward so that we will be able to film when we meet again.
I would like you to start writing your script & storyboard for the scene in Star Wars that you will be producing.
  1. Go to the class Star Wars Support Site to see which scene I would like you to produce and your classmates to produce (Student Production List) . Everything you need is on this Support Site.
  2. I would like you to view the Original Film that matches the scene you will be producing on the Star Wars Support Site.
  3. Download or View a copy of the Model Script/Storyboard. This is a script & storyboard created by a student in a previous class - this is an example of what I would like you to do. The goal is for you to dream about what you would like to present in your scene and how would you like to present it. Please don't view past student films on the support site, I only want you to view the Original Movie that I matched to your scene. I stress that I want you to dream about what you want to appear in your scene. Next, download and print a Blank Script & Storyboard. You will draw what you want to appear in the squares on the left of the page and write in detail what you want your actors and actresses to say on the right side of the page.
Note: If you do not have access to a printer, that is fine...just write your Script and draw your Storyboard on anything.
You have two weeks, so have fun as you dream about what you would like in your scene. Spring Break begins next Saturday, April 4th, so let's make the due date Friday, April 3rd.
Do me a favor: Please "Reply" to this email and let me know that you received it and let me know if you have any questions!!

Take care of yourselves!
Mr. Harrington
