Tinkercad Training

Tinkercad is a CAD program (Computer Aided Design). Tinkercad provides a series of basic tutorials that are a good first step when learning how to use this CAD program. The training is below... Log in and have fun.

First, lets Log Into Tinkercad:  

  • Go to the  Tinkercad Log In Screen, and enter the Class Code (see below).
  • Then, it will ask you to enter a "Nickname". Click on your class link below to see the  "Nickname" that Tinkercad created for you.

You have now successfully  logged into Tinkercad - I recommend that you Bookmark the page!

Now begin you can begin learning how to use Tinkercad by following the animations at the  Tinkercad Training Page.

Students will begin to learn how to use Tinkercad by completing a series of Animations.
To access the online tutorials, 

  • First log in to Tinkercad by Clicking Here...or type   "tinkercad.com" into the Address bar at the top of the page. 
  • Second, Click on the "Sign In" button at the top right hand corner of the screen. Then select the green button "Students, join your class," and finally reenter your "Class Code" and "Nickname." Congratulations...you are in!
  • Finally,   now that you are in, either click on the "Learn" tab at the top of the page, or   Click Here.   Also, select, "Show All Starters" to see all the tutorials. There are a total of 7 Tutorials that you need to complete (see below). Just watch the animations on the left part of the screen and recreate it in the middle. Please View the Gradesheet so that you will know when you are done.   Take your time and have fun!

  3.  Move It.
  4. Rotate It.
  5. Size It Up. 
  6. Group It. 
  7. Align It.

Congratulations...you finished the Tinkercad Training Animations!
Now return to the Class Site at rlsbluedevils.org and you can apply the skills you just learned by creating: "Base, Cube and Hole."
