Forwarding District Email to Your iPhone/iPad
 

Many of you have been asking how you can forward your District emails to your iPhones. Thanks Brandon Farrell for passing this information onto me for you.

Step #1: Turn on your iPhone or iPad.

Step #2: Select: "Settings" / "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" / Add Account

You will notice that Apple makes it very easy for you. You can see from the screen that pops up that they will help you set up your email from iCloud (Apple), Exchange (Microsoft), Google, Yahoo, AOL and Outlook.

The New District Email Account (We will be migrating to this account in the coming weeks).
Select "Exchange":
Enter your email: "FirstLetterFirstName""LastName"@sthelenaunified.org
Password: Enter the password that you use to log onto your new Lenovo.
Description: enter whatever you want so that you can tell the difference between your different emails.
(iPads may want the following additional information)
Server: outlook.office365.com
Username: "FirstLetterFirstName""LastName"
"Next"
"Save"

The Old District Email (we will no longer be on this system in a few weeks.)
Enter your email: "FirstLetterFirstName""LastName"@sthelena.k12.ca.us
Password: Enter the password that you have always been using to log onto your old email.
Done.

Enter the following additional information:
Server: mail.sthelena.k12.ca.us
Domain: shusd-domain
Username: "FirstLetterFirstName""LastName"
"Next"
"Save"

Now go check it out. To view the email accounts that are flowing into your iPhone, open your mail. If you aren't already viewing the main "Mailbox" which shows all your accounts, then click on the account name in the top left hand corner of your mail screen (may say iCloud). Once you are in your main Mailbox, you can see all your accounts and select to see them individually or all at once.
